Overview

In this role you will support Checkout.com’s Regional Events and Field Marketing team by executing regional events and experiential activities that drive pipeline and brand presence. You’ll collaborate with commercial teams and cross-functional partners to ensure high-quality events aligned to strategic goals at scale. You will manage planning, budgeting, and on-site delivery while leveraging data to optimize performance. This is a hands-on, high-impact role in a fast-growing fintech company with global ambition.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and executing a regional event strategy, including regional events, experiential marketing activities, and major global initiatives
  • Support end-to-end event planning: vetting, sourcing, budgeting, on-site execution, and cross-functional coordination
  • Develop data-driven audience acquisition plans to generate pipeline
  • Contribute to KPI management, data analysis, and program performance summaries with actionable recommendations
  • Help plan and manage events for scalability and efficiency, documenting processes
  • Communicate complex concepts clearly to multiple external partners
  • Demonstrate strong project management to deliver programs on time with guidance from seniors

Key requirements

  • 3+ years in a similar role (payments/fintech or event agency)
  • Self-starter with a passion for data and proactive ideation
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels for collaboration
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills with attention to detail
  • Operational proficiency in event management software, marketing automation, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Pardot, Zoom)
  • Willingness to travel 20%-40% of the time for events
