Overview
Lead the strategic transformation of a global content operation within a life sciences leader. You will design and launch a new content hub, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align with marketing transformation. You’ll steer vendor decisions, transitions, and ecosystem strategies to enable scalable, tech-enabled content solutions. This on-site role drives efficiency and future-proofs content capabilities in a regulated global environment. Your work shapes healthcare communications and supports scientific innovation.
Responsibilities
- Design and define the target content hub structure including roles, scope and services
- Align hub transformation with marketing and digital initiatives (taxonomy, workflows, technology)
- Lead RFPs, vendor selection and contracting to reduce external agency reliance
- Oversee transition planning to maintain content delivery during migrations
- Develop and implement long-term vendor and ecosystem strategy with governance and KPIs
- Build a capability roadmap incorporating innovative content production methods, AI tools, and self-service features from day one
Key requirements
- 10+ years experience in content/marketing operations, digital transformation, or enterprise content supply chains
- Proven track record designing or transforming global content hubs, shared services, or centers of excellence
- Strong vendor management experience including RFPs, contract negotiations, and performance optimization
- Experience in highly regulated, global environments with focus on operational efficiency
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or related fields; postgraduate qualification or certifications in digital transformation or project management is a plus
