Vice President, RCSA Program Integration (Second Line of Defence)

Overview

In this role, you will strengthen the risk and control self-assessment (RCSA) program within the second line of defence. You will drive cross-program transformation to harmonize RCSA practices with other risk frameworks across BNY, collaborating with first line partners and program leads. You’ll optimize end-to-end RCSA processes, dashboards, and reporting to provide risk insights for senior leadership. Your work will keep the framework compliant with regulatory developments and industry trends, embedding integrated RCSA into daily operations and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance the RCSA program within the second line of defence, ensuring integration with other risk frameworks.
• Drive cross-program transformation to improve consistency and synergy across non-financial risk management programs.
• Collaborate with first line partners and other program leads for timely risk identification, assessment, escalation, and remediation.
• Develop and optimize end-to-end RCSA processes, workflows, and tools supporting data sharing and risk reporting.
• Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends to keep the RCSA framework compliant and aligned with other risk programs.
• Prepare and present integrated RCSA reports and dashboards to senior management and governance committees.

Key requirements

• Experience in risk management, control frameworks, or compliance within a financial services environment.
• Knowledge of RCSA methodologies and second line of defence responsibilities; experience integrating multiple risk programs.
• Proven ability to lead transformation projects and drive process improvements through collaboration.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across multiple business lines and risk programs.
• Ability to analyze complex risk data and translate insights for senior leadership.
