Building Surveyor

Overview

In this home-based role, you will act as the technical lead for building, facilities and estates surveying across a cluster of sites within the London North patch. You will assess maintenance needs, produce cost estimates and support minor works, while collaborating with site teams and enjoying genuine autonomy over your day-to-day. You will establish yourself as the go-to expert on your patch and contribute to the organisation’s stability and continuous professional development. This opportunity combines technical ownership with meaningful impact across multiple sites in the education sector.

Responsibilities

• Building, facilities and estates surveying across a cluster of sites
• Assessing maintenance requirements and producing cost estimates
• Supporting planned maintenance and minor improvement works
• Home-based with regular travel across sites within the London North Patch

Key requirements

• Background in Building Surveying, Estates or Facilities Management
• Comfortable in a highly autonomous position
• Able to obtain or already hold a DBS check
• Full UK driving licence
