Chartered Building Surveyor

Overview

In this role you will join the Exeter-based South West team to deliver architecture and building surveying services across residential and commercial portfolios. You will lead project delivery, specification, tendering and contract administration for works from 30k to 2m, while conducting pre-purchase surveys, schedules of condition and maintenance planning. You’ll provide defect analysis and reinstatement cost assessments, supporting client relationships and business growth. This is a multidisciplinary, client-focused opportunity with clear professional development and regional impact.

Responsibilities

• Specification, tendering, contract administration and project delivery of works (30k-2m)
• Pre-purchase building surveys for residential and commercial properties
• Preparing schedules of condition for leasehold purposes
• Inspections and preparation of Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules
• Reinstatement cost assessments for diverse properties and portfolios
• Defect analysis and advisory consultancy on property issues
• Maintaining and growing the existing client base and generating new leads

Key requirements

• Chartered Building Surveyor
• experience in specification, tendering, contract administration and project delivery
• experience with pre-purchase surveys, schedules of condition, maintenance planning, reinstatement cost assessments and defect analysis
