About the Role
Our client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Support Worker to provide essential services to the elderly population in East London . Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and engage in social activities with elderly clients.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care as needed.
- Accompany clients to appointments, social outings, and community events.
- Monitor the well-being of clients and report any changes in their condition or needs to the supervisor.
- Connect clients and their families with relevant community services and support networks.

Requirements
- A relevant qualification or certificate in Social Work, Gerontology, or Community Care.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with the elderly or in a caregiving capacity.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with seniors.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Basic understanding of common health issues affecting the elderly.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
