Personal Tax Senior – Wetherby
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 DOE
Clark Wood is working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice that is looking to recruit a Personal Tax Senior to join its tax team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional with a background in personal / private client tax who is looking to develop their career within a supportive practice.
You will work closely with managers and partners, managing a portfolio of personal tax clients and assisting with a range of compliance and advisory work.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
- Preparing Self Assessment tax returns
- Reviewing personal tax computations and returns
- Dealing with HMRC correspondence and queries
- Assisting with personal tax planning and advisory work
- Preparing tax calculations and supporting schedules
- Liaising directly with clients
- Assisting managers and partners with more complex tax matters
- Supporting and reviewing work completed by junior members of the team
About You
The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice and a strong understanding of personal tax.
ATT qualified or working towards ATT would be advantageous, although candidates with strong relevant experience will also be considered.
