Accounts Senior – Business Services – London/Hybrid

My client, a highly regarded and growing London accountancy firm, is looking for an Accounts Senior to join its Business Services team.

This is a varied, client-facing role working with a broad portfolio of larger to OMBs across a range of sectors, with a strong focus on statutory accounts alongside exposure to management reporting.
The role will include:
- Preparing statutory accounts and year-end financial statements
- Preparing management accounts and associated reporting
- Preparing VAT returns and supporting other accounting compliance requirements
- Managing work across a varied portfolio of clients
- Liaising directly with clients and developing strong working relationships
- Working closely with Managers and Partners on more complex assignments
- Supporting and reviewing the work of junior members of the team
- Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
The successful candidate will:
- Be fully ACA or ACCA qualified
- Have trained and qualified within an accountancy practice
- Have strong statutory/year-end accounts preparation experience gained within practice
- Have exposure to management accounts
- Be confident communicating directly with clients
- Have good technical accounting knowledge
- Be organised and comfortable managing multiple client deadlines
