This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing workforce reporting and analytics across the University, helping leaders make informed decisions that enhance organisational performance and employee experience.
Across higher education and beyond, organisations are being challenged to think differently, work differently and embrace new possibilities. At Ravensbourne University London, we’re responding with ambition, creativity and a bold vision for the future of work.
We’re not simply recruiting into a vacancy. We’re building a new People and Culture team that will shape organisational culture, influence strategic decision-making, support leaders through change and create exceptional experiences for our people.
As our People Analytics and Data Officer, you will lead on workforce data, HR systems and people analytics, delivering accurate, insightful and accessible workforce information across the University. Working within the People Operations team, you will develop workforce dashboards, reports and analytics that support strategic planning and informed decision-making.
Collaborating with colleagues across People and Culture, Finance, Payroll and IT, you will provide expert analytical support, improve data quality and help drive evidence-based decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for a data-focused professional looking to make a meaningful impact through workforce insight and continuous improvement.
As our People Analytics and Data Officer you will:
- Develop and maintain workforce dashboards and reports using Power BI, SAP Business Objects and other reporting tools.
- Produce high-quality people analytics and management information to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Act as administrator for the iTrent HR and Payroll system, providing user support and maintaining system effectiveness.
- Extract, analyse and interpret workforce data from a range of sources to provide meaningful insight.
- Support workforce planning through robust data analysis and reporting.
- Lead statutory and regulatory reporting, including HESA and Gender Pay Gap submissions.
- Ensure workforce data is accurate, compliant and aligned with GDPR requirements.
- Support data governance, reporting standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across HR, Payroll, Finance, IT and the wider University.
- Contribute to the development of HR systems, reporting tools and digital solutions.
You will have experience working in a People Analytics, HR Systems, Workforce Planning or Data Reporting role and be confident using data to support decision‑making. You’ll bring advanced Power BI skills, experience of HR systems such as iTrent, and a strong understanding of workforce reporting and analytics.
So if you are passionate about people data, reporting and analytics and enjoy transforming complex information into meaningful insights that support strategic decision‑making, this could be a fantastic opportunity for you.
