About the Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children’s learning and development through engaging, play-based experiences. Working within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), you will help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children feel valued, respected, and confident to explore the world around them.
- Plan and deliver fun, engaging activities that support children’s learning and development.
- Observe, assess, and support each child’s individual learning journey.
- Promote children’s independence, confidence, and wellbeing.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and secure learning environment.
- Support children’s personal care needs with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers, sharing information about children’s progress and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide the highest standards of care and education.
- Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, confidentiality, and equality policies and procedures.
- Participate in training, supervision, and continuous professional development opportunities.
Personal Qualities
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Has a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Holds a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 preferred).
- Has a good understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Is caring, patient, enthusiastic and a great team player.
- Can work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with families.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
