About the role
As a Support Worker at Brandon Trust, you’ll be part of something meaningful, supporting autistic people and people with learning disabilities to live life in the way that suits them best.
We’re currently recruiting for opportunities across our homes in Quedgeley, Cirencester and Cheltenham, where you’ll work alongside people to achieve the things that matter most to them. Whether that’s trying a new hobby, building daily routines, planning a holiday, attending work, maintaining their home, or simply enjoying their day, you’ll be there to provide the right support at the right time.
You’ll support with day-to-day activities such as:
- Shopping and meal preparation
- Managing appointments and health needs
- Accessing the local community
- Building confidence and independence
- Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
You will also provide personal care support. This may include helping people with washing, dressing and other personal routines. Personal care is delivered with dignity, respect and compassion, always tailored to the individual’s preferences and needs.
No two days are the same, and every day brings the opportunity to make a genuine difference.
Why this role matters
You’ll be supporting people on their own unique journeys, whether that’s gaining confidence, developing relationships, learning new skills or becoming more independent. This is an opportunity to build meaningful connections, celebrate achievements and be part of the moments that matter most.
You’ll join a supportive team that values kindness, respect, individuality and inclusion.
What we’re looking for
- A kind and thoughtful approach rooted in empathy and respect
- A genuine interest in understanding other people’s lives, goals and aspirations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- A commitment to inclusion and celebrating individuality
- A full UK manual driving licence is needed due to the vehicles used within our homes
No experience? That’s okay. Your values and behaviours matter more than your previous experience.
If you’re someone who listens, treats others with respect and wants to help people live life to the full, we’ll provide all the training and support you need to succeed. From your first day, you’ll have access to ongoing learning, development opportunities and a team that’s there to support you every step of the way.
