Dietetic Technician (Public Healthcare Institution)

Job Description:

• Assist Allied Health Professionals with patient assessments, clinical measurements, nutrition screening and diet history under the supervision of a Clinical Dietitian.
• Provide basic nutrition, healthy lifestyle and self-care education to patients and caregivers using approved educational materials.
• Support individual and group education sessions at the polyclinic and in the community, including co-leading sessions under remote supervision.
• Assist with lifestyle and preventive health programmes, patient engagement activities and community outreach initiatives.
• Prepare and update patient education materials and departmental resources, as well as perform nutrient analysis of recipes.
• Support quality improvement and research projects through data collection, documentation and other ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirement:

• Diploma in Food Science, Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in a healthcare or nutrition-related setting will be an advantage.
