This is a specialist hydraulic engineering consultancy working across the UK and internationally on projects within the water and wastewater sectors. The company provides specialist physical hydraulic modelling, CFD and hydraulic analysis services, giving graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop a career within a niche area of engineering.
In this role you will initially support experienced engineers with physical hydraulic and CFD modelling projects, gaining hands-on experience in testing, analysis and model development. As you develop, you will take on more responsibility for your own projects, including hydraulic testing, analysis, reporting and client work.
This role would suit a Civil/Mechanical Engineering graduate or similar looking to build a long-term career within a specialist engineering consultancy who offer full bespoke training.
The role:
- Support physical hydraulic and CFD modelling projects
- Carry out hydraulic testing, analysis and interpretation
- Assist with model development, calibration and verification
- Prepare technical reports and project documentation
The person:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar.
