Job Description

A lovely family based in Hampton Court are seeking an experienced and nurturing Norland-trained nanny to care for their 2.5-year-old child. This is a wonderful opportunity for a professional nanny who is passionate about early years development and enjoys creating a warm, safe and stimulating environment for a young child. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development, excellent childcare experience and the confidence to manage the child’s daily routine independently. They should be creative, organised and proactive, with a genuine passion for supporting the child’s learning, development and wellbeing.

Duties

• providing attentive, nurturing and professional care for the child
• planning engaging and age-appropriate activities
• supporting the child’s emotional, social and physical development
• organising creative play, arts and crafts and educational activities
• reading stories and encouraging early learning
• taking the child to parks, classes and other outings
• supporting the child’s daily routine, including meals and naps
• preparing healthy meals and snacks for the child
• encouraging independence and positive behaviour
• keeping the child’s bedroom, play areas and belongings tidy
• organising toys, books and educational resources
• maintaining a safe, clean and stimulating environment
• communicating regularly with the parents about the child’s progress and daily activities

Requirements

• Current Paediatric First Aid
• Current Enhanced DBS
• UK Work Permit
