Ormiston NEW Academy caters for 11 to 19 year olds. With1,066 students on roll, we provide a vibrant learning environment withfirst-class facilities. NEWA has undergone an OFSTED inspection under the newframework and are beyond proud to announce that we have been awarded a stronggrading in four areas: attendance and behaviour, inclusion, leadership andgovernance, and personal development and wellbeing. In the remaining threeareas, we are meeting the expected standard. The new framework is deliberatelymore ambitious, with higher expectations set for schools across all areas. As aresult, meeting the expected standard reflects a stronger benchmark than underprevious inspection arrangements.
