About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Business Compliance Officer to provide comprehensive support for the business across Project Centre, with particular responsibility for compliance, supplier management, audits, governance reporting and operational co-ordination.

This is an exciting role and an opportunity to be a central point of contact for internal teams, external suppliers, auditors and group functions ensuring that systems, processes and reporting requirement s are managed accurately.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring all documentation and recordsremaincurrent and compliant
  • Ensuring the QMS is kept up to date to respond to evolving needs of the business
  • Support the development and delivery of Quality Management System (QMS) training,includingQMS‑specificonboarding sessions
  • Lead external BSI audits, acting as main point of contact and coordinating internal responses
  • Act as main point of contact for internal Group audits, supporting reviews and evidence gathering
  • Coordinate internal project inspections, including scheduling, inspections, reporting to SLT, and escalating issues where necessary
  • Managethird partysupplier processes, including reports on expired certificates, supplier communications,checksto approve suppliers into the approved pool,reinstatement checks, and ongoing compliance monitoring.
  • Supportreporting on third partyspendprofiles which supportthe identificationand validationof efficiencyopportunitiesor negotiationof termswithin the supply chain.
  • Coordinate and attendSourceDogg(supply chain platform) meetings, draft questionnaires
  • Procureproject‑relateditemsandPPEperiodicallyin liaison with the Health & Safety Managerand coordinate ensuringtimelydelivery to project teams,maintainingaccuratestock recordsalongside cost controls.
  • Identify and mitigate strategic, operational, and financial risks across the business. Ensure robust governance and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Champion sustainability and social value initiatives across the business, aligning with client expectations and corporate responsibility goals.
  • Key in driving adoption of digital tools and innovative practices to improve service delivery, data management, and client engagement.
  • Experience and/or qualification as an Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 would be an advantage

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in a business support, compliance, orgovernance‑focusedrole.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting audits, compliance frameworks, or quality management systems.
  • High levelof attention to detail and confidence handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing reports andsenior‑levelupdates.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams and shared document systems.
