Our team in Blackburn are urgently seeking to appoint an experienced and capable individual in the position of Office Administrator (immediate start available).

As an Office Administrator, you will be playing a crucial role in managing customer service and hire requests, while providing dedicated support to the wider team.

Key tasks associated with the role are as follows:

  • Work in collaboration with the members of the service and sales team coordinating servicing and maintenance for all customers.
  • Efficient administration of service and hire related orders.
  • Process service and hire requests and coordinate the work to the engineers/installers.
  • Processing the service orders during and on completion of the works.
  • Complete the work on the software system for invoicing purposes.
  • Prepare reports of activities with the accountable accounts.
  • Build a strong, in-depth product knowledge to understand the features and benefits of products.
  • Maintain and update the ERP database pre and post servicing to ensure the data is processed accordingly.

This list is not exhaustive and the successful candidate will be expected to undertake any other duties for which they are suitably qualified and experienced to undertake.

About you:

  • Experience in a customer service, telesales, service coordination or similar
  • Confident communicating via email, telephone, and in person
  • Passionate for providing solutions and motivated by targets
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and on own initiative
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Experience using an ERP system is desirable, however a willingness to learn new systems and processes is sufficient
  • Experience in the NHS, care home or healthcare sector would be advantageous
