Site Installation Technician

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and dependable Site Installation Technician to join their team in East London . In this role, you will be responsible for the physical installation, setup, and initial testing of various types of equipment and systems at diverse client locations. Your primary objective will be to ensure that installations are performed accurately, safely, and efficiently, meeting all project specifications and client requirements. This hands-on position requires a strong practical understanding of installation procedures and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship within the Installation & Maintenance sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform the physical installation of equipment and components according to technical documentation and site plans.
• Connect, secure, and test newly installed systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any immediate issues or defects identified during the installation process.
• Ensure all safety regulations and site-specific protocols are strictly adhered to during work.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any deficiencies.
• Document completed installations and any encountered challenges or resolutions.

Requirements

• Experience in a hands-on installation role, preferably within Installation & Maintenance or a related trade.
• Ability to read and interpret installation guides, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Proficiency with common hand and power tools used in installation work.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively on-site.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to various sites in and around East London .
