About the Role
The Opportunity
- Deliver electrical products as a Warehouse Operative / Van Driver to customer sites and premises
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately
- Support warehouse operations, stock control and replenishment
- Cut and prepare cable orders
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and follow safety procedures
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Experience as a Warehouse Operative, Van Driver, or within a builders’ merchant/electrical wholesale environment is desirable
- Forklift experience beneficial (training provided)
- Good local area knowledge
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Team player with good communication skills
- Reliable, organised and customer-focused
