Anderson Knight is delighted to be recruiting for an Administrator on behalf of a well-established and growing business based in Coatbridge.

Due to continued business growth, our client is looking to appoint an experienced and proactive administrator to join their close-knit and supportive team.

This is a varied and fast-paced role offering exposure to a broad range of administrative and accounts-related duties. It would suit someone who enjoys a hands-on position, takes pride in being organised, and is happy to support different areas of the business.

Salary: £28,000-£30,000 DOE

Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm | Friday: 8:30am – 2:30pm

The Role

Reporting into the management team, you will provide essential administrative and operational support across the business. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing incoming calls, emails and general correspondence
  • Providing administrative support to various departments
  • Updating and maintaining internal systems and company records
  • Processing invoices and supporting the purchase ledger function
  • Assisting with payroll administration using Sage
  • Booking travel and accommodation for employees
  • Processing orders and managing office supplies
  • Coordinating documentation and ensuring accurate record keeping
  • Covering reception duties as required
  • Supporting the wider team with ad hoc administration tasks

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in an administrative position
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • A proactive, flexible and positive approach to work
  • Experience working with Sage or within an accounts environment would be advantageous
  • A willingness to learn new skills and support different areas of the business
