Marketing Co-ordinator (Social Media Specialist) – Leeds

Company: A.C. Entertainment Technologies Ltd.
Apply for the Marketing Co-ordinator (Social Media Specialist) – Leeds
Location: Leeds
Job Description:

We’re looking for a proactive Marketing Co-ordinator to be our marketing “boots on the ground” in Leeds. You’ll capture the excitement of what we do every day and make sure our social media & digital channels reflect our position as industry leaders.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can own their work. You’ll be the marketing specialist in the room, working closely with our Managing Director, Tradeshow and Event Manager, divisional leaders and our external marketing agency. Regular travel to our High Wycombe head office, trade shows and industry events is part of the job.

Key responsibilities

Social media management: Support the strategy and run day-to-day activity across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok. Co-ordinate and create content that speaks to a technical B2B audience across our lighting, audio, rigging and video divisions.

Content production: Work with the Marketing Manager, Divisional Managers, Brand Managers, suppliers and customers to create photo and video content. Turn day-to-day business, industry events, product demos and warehouse activity into engaging stories.

Marketing co-ordination: Liaise with internal teams and external partners, including our marketing agency, to plan and deliver marketing activity on time.

Digital support: Keep the AC-ET website up to date, apply basic SEO best practice to updates and co-ordinate digital assets for campaigns.

Events and trade shows: Capture and share content from key industry events such as PLASA Show, PLASA Focus Leeds and ISE.

Brand ambassadorship: Keep the AC-ET brand voice consistent across every digital touchpoint.

What we are looking for:

2–3 years in a Marketing Co-ordinator or Social Media role, ideally within a mid-to-large SME.

Confident self-starter who can manage your own workload and deadlines, as well as those set by an external agency.

Strong knowledge of social media platforms, tools and best practice.

Hands-on experience of social media photography, videography and editing.

Technical literacy: you don’t need to be a lighting designer, but you can understand and clearly communicate technical product features.

Full UK driving licence.

Highly desirable:

Experience in entertainment technology, pro-AV, live events, theatre, broadcast or a related technical distribution sector

Familiarity with industry events and titles such as PLASA, ABTT Theatre Show, ISE, LSi, TPI and ETNow

Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Premiere Pro and video editing tools.

What we offer:

The chance to work with world-class entertainment technology brands

A fast-paced, creative environment at the heart of the live events and production industry

Real ownership of the marketing function and the chance to shape how AC-ET shows up online

Travel to trade shows and industry events

A.C. Entertainment Technologies is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates.
