Lead Project Manager – Engineering Projects

Our client is seeking a highly accomplished Lead Project Manager to oversee critical Engineering Projects in a fully remote capacity. You will be responsible for guiding diverse, distributed teams through the entire project lifecycle, ensuring the successful delivery of sophisticated engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of major engineering projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Manage cross-functional and geographically dispersed engineering teams, fostering collaboration and accountability in a remote environment.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
• Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues.
• Ensure adherence to the highest standards of engineering quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate project status, key milestones, and potential challenges to stakeholders and executive leadership effectively.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in project management , with a strong emphasis on complex engineering projects.
• Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale engineering initiatives from conception to completion.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and methodologies relevant to the industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage remote teams and facilitate collaboration in a virtual setting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Relevant engineering degree and/or professional project management certification (PMP, PE).
