What you’ll be responsible for:

You will take end‑to‑end ownership of your assigned categories, developing and delivering practical, evidence‑based sourcing plans aligned with business priorities. You will manage supplier relationships, performance measures and improvement plans while working collaboratively with Finance, Logistics, IT, Engineering, Marketing, Legal and wider stakeholders. You will also use data, reporting and appropriate digital tools to improve spend visibility, support informed decision‑making and progress opportunities from initial concept through to implementation and measurable benefit.
The role will be predominately based from our Leeds office (LS15), with regular travel to other Quorn sites andsuppliers.
What experience you’ll need to have:
- Proven commercial procurement or category management background, ideally across indirect categories such as marketing, IT, logistics or engineering
- Excellent commercial awareness, negotiation and supplier management capability, with experience analysing proposals, questioning assumptions and reaching balanced commercial agreements
- A track record of taking ownership of opportunities and progressing them from initial idea through to implementation and measurable benefit, including value beyond rates and unit price
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence change across varied categories and priorities; experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, manufacturing or another operationally complex environment
- Well‑developed analytical, organisational and problem‑solving skills, with experience using data, reports, dashboards or trackers to support decision‑making and performance management
