- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot automated rundown-driven gallery workflows.
- Manage and support:
- Vision mixer control
- Graphics triggering
- Clip and source recall
- Support live and near-live productions, ensuring automation systems respond accurately to editorial and operational changes.
- Diagnose and resolve issues across editorial, automation, and gallery environments during live broadcasts.
- Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of automation updates, templates, and gallery changes.
- Work closely with editorial, production, and technical operations teams to ensure smooth on-air delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
? Strong hands-on experience with Ross OverDrive and Caprica in live broadcast environments.
? Proven knowledge of newsroom-to-gallery workflows using:
- OpenMedia
- Ross Inception
- iNews
? Deep understanding of MOS workflows and editorial metadata integration.
? Experience supporting automation systems in fast-paced live production settings.
? Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across newsroom, automation, and gallery systems during live output.
Ideal Candidate
- Background in broadcast engineering, gallery automation, or live production technology.
- Strong understanding of television production workflows.
- Calm and effective under live broadcast pressures.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with operational readiness testing and automation deployments.
