Overview
In this year-long placement, you will gain a holistic view of HR in a leading European energy trading house. You will work with Global Talent Attraction, Recruiting & Early Careers to support the full lifecycle of talent, and you may collaborate with HR functions such as People & Organisational Development, HR Operations and Reward. You’ll also explore digital HR projects and continuous improvement within an international setting. This is a hands-on programme designed to accelerate your development and could lead to a graduate opportunity. You’ll be supported by a Buddy and access to in-house courses and on-the-job training, helping you build practical skills from day one.

Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end HR life cycle activities across a global organisation
- Collaborate with HR functions to gain a complete view of the fast-paced HR environment
- Assist with digital and innovation-led HR projects and deliver improvements
- Contribute to project activities and stakeholder engagement
- Participate in learning and development initiatives and apply new skills within the role
Key requirements
- Excellent communication skills in fluent English
- IT proficiency, including use of AI-enabled productivity tools
- Strong sense of responsibility; proactive and solution-oriented
- Organisational talent with analytical problem-solving and creative drive
- Collaborative mindset with a curious approach; able to work independently or in a team
- Motivation to take on new challenges and develop skills within a supportive team
- Penultimate year of a Business, Psychology, Business Education or similar degree (ideally HR-focused)
