Overview

Senior Project Controls Engineer for a high-profile London airport infrastructure program. You will join a cross-functional project controls team to deliver performance reporting, baseline management and cost oversight, shaping the project trajectory. The role focuses on earning value, progress tracking and robust reporting to support decision-making. You will work closely with cost and planning engineers to establish baselines and provide actionable recommendations, contributing to the success of major international airport delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop work breakdown structures and robust performance baselines with cost/planning engineers
• Establish progress and cost monitoring methods and produce control reports
• Provide performance analysis and recommendations for clients
• Serve as day-to-day contact point with the client when needed
• Collaborate with cost and planning engineers on baseline management and reporting
• Support Earned Value, progress updates, cost and change control activities
• Utilize P6 and reporting databases to track project performance

Key requirements

• Experience in project controls on a major infrastructure project, ideally airports
• Strong knowledge of earned value, progress updating, cost control and baseline management
• Proficiency in P6, Excel, reporting tools, and familiarity with Oracle and SAP
• Graduate in a relevant discipline with some project control experience
• Proactive, with strong communication and analytical skills
