Overview

You will lead and develop Sportradar’s new Sales Development function, driving scalable, high-quality pipeline across regions. As first dedicated SDR manager, you shape coaching standards, playbooks, and cross-functional collaboration with Account Executives, Enablement, Marketing and Product. You’ll push for data-driven ramp, strong handoffs to AE, and AI-enabled prospecting to future-proof the SDR role. This is a high-impact, people-focused leadership role at the intersection of sports, tech and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a consistent coaching cadence across regions (1:1s, call/email reviews, skill development plans)
  • Revamp and standardize the SDR playbook across regions while allowing local variations
  • Own team metrics: meetings, SQOs, pipeline and outbound activity; set activity standards
  • Design structured ramp/onboarding to accelerate new SDR productivity with data support
  • Strengthen SDR→AE handoffs with context-rich meeting outcomes and trusted collaboration with sales leadership
  • Upskill SDRs in competitive/product knowledge with Enablement and Product Marketing
  • Lead AI-driven research, personalization and prioritization in prospecting
  • Create rhythms, cadences and rituals to sustain energy across time zones
  • Partner on hiring and clear progression paths to retain top SDRs
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Enablement on certification and ramp programmes

Key requirements

  • Experience building or scaling a founding SDR team in a B2B SaaS scale-up
  • Track record of managing SDRs across multiple regions and time zones
  • Background in sport, media, advertising technology or data
  • Power-user of Outreach and Salesforce
  • Coach-first leadership style that develops people in the room
  • Collaborative with sales leadership, Enablement, RevOps and Marketing
  • Clear view on AI’s impact on the SDR role and how to prepare the team
  • Comfort with ambiguity and strong documentation habits
  • Bias for quality over activity, ownership of outcomes
  • APAC or LATAM market experience
  • Experience partnering with Product Management and Marketing personas
  • Experience partnering with Enablement on certification or ramp programmes
