Technology Resilience Risk & Project Manager

Overview

As Vice President, you drive remediation of disaster recovery risks and resilience initiatives across Morgan Stanley’s tech landscape. You will anchor escalation, tracking, and closure of actions with cross-functional partners to strengthen governance and regulatory alignment. You lead remediation planning, milestone tracking, and evidence collection to ensure durable risk control and incident management. This role combines strategic risk leadership with hands-on project management to advance enterprise resilience and regulatory readiness.

Responsibilities

• Manage IAD, ORD, NFR and regulatory action items from intake to closure with clear owners and evidence
• Coordinate across Business, Technology, Risk, Audit, and control functions to remove delivery barriers and uphold accountability
• Apply project management discipline to action plans, including milestones, dependencies, governance, and risk-based prioritization
• Prepare concise management reports on open actions, aging items, risks, decisions, and closure progress for governance forums
• Identify recurring themes and drive continuous improvement across the resilience testing and issue management lifecycle

Key requirements

• Experience in technology resilience, disaster recovery, technology risk, issue management, regulatory remediation or related control function
• Strong understanding of risk, audit and regulatory action management including ownership and evidence standards
• Proven project management skills with milestone tracking and governance reporting
• Excellent stakeholder management and written communication across Business, Technology, Risk, Audit and control functions
• Proficiency in Jira and MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) for action management and reporting
