As a Senior Civil Engineer at Arup, you will lead and deliver complex water and river projects, shaping solutions from feasibility to handover. Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex water, river and civil engineering projects
• Manage programmes, budgets, resources and risks from feasibility to completion
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor engineers
• Provide technical leadership, design review and quality assurance
• Build strong client and stakeholder relationships
• Develop and evaluate engineering options for practical, sustainable solutions
• Drive digital improvements and efficient ways of working
• Support tenders, proposals and business development
• Contribute to leadership and growth of the engineering team

Key requirements

• Chartered or near-Chartered status
• Strong experience delivering water and river engineering projects
• Proven project management and team leadership experience
• Excellent liaison skills with clients and contractors
• Experience leading multidisciplinary projects and mentoring junior engineers
• Strong technical judgement and practical, solutions-focused approach
• Interest in digital innovation and improved project delivery
• Experience in contract administration and Principal Designer duties under CDM regulations (advantageous)
