Overview

As a Senior Project Manager in our flood risk team, you will lead and shape delivery of complex projects across the flood risk and environmental sectors. You will work with cross-functional client teams to meet objectives, manage contracts and finances, and guide project controls. Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary projects in flood risk and environmental sectors, across the project lifecycle
  • Manage projects typically 2m–15m, ensuring client objectives, contract compliance, and quality outcomes
  • Oversee contract management and work under NEC PSC/ECC forms, including as Service Manager or Project Manager
  • Develop and lead project teams, manage multiple work streams, and communicate with senior client representatives
  • Drive financial management and project controls, health and safety, quality and environmental management
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to build long-term client relationships and trusted advisor status
  • Problem solve and translate complex issues into actionable delivery plans
  • Operate under pressure with a growth mindset and proactive leadership

Key requirements

  • Experience leading large-scale flood risk management or environmental projects (2m–15m)
  • Experience with NEC contracts (PSC/ECC) and serving as Service Manager or Project Manager
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and numerical abilities
  • Planning, organizational, and multi-stream coordination skills
  • Ability to develop and manage project teams on complex programmes
