Overview

In this role, you will lead recruitment for the Lower Thames Crossing project, ensuring fair and compliant practices. You will partner with Hiring Managers, HR and operations to deliver accurate hiring plans and effective workforce forecasts. You will champion inclusive hiring and a strong candidate experience while maintaining project timelines. This position sits at the intersection of site-based operations and corporate recruitment, shaping how talent supports Skanska’s ambitious project delivery. You will drive data-informed decisions to optimize processes and ensure governance and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead fair, compliant recruitment across assigned project areas.
  • Upskill Hiring Managers in governance, approvals, and best-practice hiring.
  • Serve as the main recruitment contact for the project, with time split between site and head office.
  • Deliver hiring plans using workforce forecasts and project resource plans.
  • Support inclusive hiring and a strong candidate experience by collaborating with HR, operations, partners and the recruitment team.

Key requirements

  • Experience of workforce planning & talent strategy with translating project resource needs into hiring plans and prioritization.
  • End-to-end selection & hiring outcomes with fair assessment processes and quality hires.
  • Strong stakeholder partnership & candidate experience with clear, timely communication.
  • Proficiency in continuous improvement & compliance and tracking key hiring metrics using data.
