You will guide commercial activities, forecast and monitor costs, and lead contract administration and change management to deliver value. Responsibilities

  • Establish professional relationships with clients and project teams
  • Administer contracts per project objectives and policies
  • Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting
  • Monitor cost variance and contract cash flow; ensure timely applications
  • Collaborate with client and contractor teams on deliverables, KPIs, governance and value engineering
  • Manage contract changes and ensure governance and best practices
  • Improve forecast and budget accuracy
  • Provide commercial knowledge and support to stakeholders
  • Negotiate and agree final accounts
  • Lead people and commissions as needed

Key requirements

  • Proven cost / commercial management experience
  • Experience with major programmes and projects
  • Experience in infrastructure projects (rail, air, marine/ports, utilities or highways)
  • Experience in leading and managing teams
  • Post contract administration
  • Preferably MRICS
  • NEC3 contracts (Option C – Target Cost)
