Systems Test & Verification Engineer

Overview

As Systems Test & Verification Engineer, you will define and execute test strategies for safety-critical autonomous software and embedded systems. You will collaborate with a specialist engineering team to ensure rigorous verification and validation across requirements, integration and system levels. You will leverage automated testing, simulation and fault-injection to prove system robustness. This role sits in Oxfordshire, with office attendance three days per week, contributing to next-generation autonomous platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategies for safety-critical autonomous software and embedded systems
• Create test frameworks and perform requirements-based, integration and system testing
• Utilise automated testing, simulation and fault-injection techniques to validate system robustness

Key requirements

• Experience in software, embedded or systems testing within a safety-critical or regulated environment
• Strong understanding of verification, validation, requirements-based testing and traceability
• Experience with embedded/real-time systems and automated testing approaches for autonomous systems
