Technology Strategy Business Manager – Executive Director

Overview

As Executive Director in Securities Services Technology, you will drive strategic planning and governance across infrastructure, AI, and vendor strategies to enable long-term success. You partner with senior leaders to steer investment decisions, transformation programs, and operating model enhancements. You will establish governance, measure outcomes, and lead financial management while pushing modernization and resilience initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to shape technology strategy at a global scale and deliver measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

• Steer strategic priorities across infrastructure, AI, vendor management and organizational resilience
• Partner with senior leaders on business planning, investment governance and operating model effectiveness
• Develop governance frameworks, metrics and reporting for transparency and accountability
• Oversee financial management activities including forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis
• Identify opportunities to improve technology efficiency, scalability and cost effectiveness
• Support technology modernization, platform transformation and innovation initiatives
• Drive vendor strategy, supplier governance and third-party optimization
• Establish frameworks to measure value and outcomes from strategic technology investments, including AI
• Lead workforce resilience initiatives, succession planning and organizational capability assessments
• Deliver executive-level insights to inform strategic decision making
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and contribute to Business Management leadership team

Key requirements

• Significant experience in Business Management, Strategy, COO, Finance, Transformation or Technology leadership roles
• Experience managing complex investment portfolios, strategic programs or operating model initiatives
• Strong financial, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders across Technology, Finance and Business functions
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives in a global environment
• Excellent communication, executive presentation and stakeholder management skills
