Responsibilities
- Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion within budget
- Administer contracts in line with project objectives and policies
- Monitor cost variance and cash flow; ensure timely, correct applications
- Collaborate with client and contractor teams on deliverables, KPIs and value engineering
- Manage contract change and governance; drive forecast accuracy and budget improvements
- Provide sound commercial support to stakeholders and negotiate final accounts
- Lead people and commissions as needed
Key requirements
- Proven cost/quantity surveying/commercial management experience
- MRICS preferred
- Experience with NEC3 contracts (Option C – Target Cost)
- Post-contract administration experience
- Experience on major programmes and infrastructure projects (rail, aviation, marine/ports, utilities, highways)
- Experience in leading and managing teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
