Security Operations Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead the design, building and rollout of Security Operations capabilities within a major cybersecurity transformation programme. You work independently to shape requirements, challenge approaches and drive delivery from concept to operational handover. You translate threat intelligence into practical security outcomes, developing detection, investigations and response processes while influencing stakeholders. This is a senior, autonomous position focused on building lasting security capabilities in a complex enterprise, not traditional SOC monitoring.

Key requirements

• deep hands-on Security Operations experience across incident response, threat hunting, digital forensics, malware analysis, network analysis and detection engineering
• ability to recommend solutions and influence stakeholders
• delivery experience and technical credibility
• capability to work autonomously without heavy reliance on existing teams
• travel to head office in central London once a month
