Senior Data Scientist

Overview

As a Data Scientist at Cotality, you design and implement ML models and analytics to convert large, diverse datasets into actionable insights. You’ll build predictive models to enhance client services and product capabilities, and translate business needs into analytical frameworks. You’ll own data pipelines and visualization tools, communicating results to technical and non-technical stakeholders. You’ll mentor junior teammates and explore new data science approaches to boost analytical capabilities. This role combines impact on the property ecosystem with cross-functional collaboration and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement machine learning algorithms and statistical models for large datasets
• Develop methods to consolidate and analyze unstructured big data sources
• Create predictive models to support client services and product enhancements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into analytical frameworks
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data processing
• Create advanced visualisations and dashboards for stakeholders
• Mentor junior data scientists and guide complex projects
• Evaluate and adopt new data science technologies and approaches

Key requirements

• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Java
• Expertise in statistical analysis, ML algorithms, and predictive modeling
• Experience with big data technologies and unstructured data
• Proficiency with Pandas, NumPy, SciPy
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
