Engineering- Technical Director – London

Overview

As Regional Technical Director you will lead and develop the Engineering team to reach higher performance and growth. You will drive market engagement, win new client work, and shape the regional strategy in alignment with the overall engineering roadmap. You’ll mentor leaders, manage budgets, and deputise for the Head of Engineering to ensure delivery of strategic plans. This role combines people leadership with client-facing influence to establish the team as a market name in Engineering Loss Adjusting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor high-performing regional engineering teams
• Develop and execute a market-leading business plan and growth strategy
• Manage annual budgets and monthly forecasting
• Drive pipeline development and win new client work
• Engage with clients and market to build credibility and brand
• Develop value propositions with Client Services to win business
• Deputise for Head of Engineering and contribute to the specialty strategic plan
• Foster talent development and reinforce RESTORE Values across the team

Key requirements

• Experience in an Engineering Loss Adjusting environment
• Engineering/CII/CILA qualifications
• Operational leadership with team management experience
• Proven track record of delivering results
• Ability to identify growth opportunities and convert them into action
• Strong communicator with credibility in client-facing situations
• Budget management and forecasting experience
