UK Finance Director

Overview

Senior leadership role overseeing finance across the UK, EMEA and APAC regions within a fast-growing, multinational manufacturing group. You will lead financial control, FP&A, and strategic planning while driving transformation through technology, data, and AI. Partner with the MD and Group FD to shape performance, reporting, and governance in a global context. This is an opportunity to build a high-performance finance function and influence cross-functional decision-making in an entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for multiple regions (UK, EMEA, APAC)
• Oversee regional financial reporting, controls, statutory accounting, audit, compliance and tax
• Drive FP&A enhancement to improve insight quality for senior leadership
• Manage working capital and profitability analysis including gross margin
• Lead and develop the finance team and partner with commercial, operations and supply chain leaders
• Leverage technology, data and AI to streamline processes and support business decisions
• Support sales pipeline analysis and future performance planning
• Ensure robust financial controls and accuracy of financial statements

Key requirements

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• experience in manufacturing, logistics, distribution or product-based business
• strong financial controls and technical accounting experience
