Risk Systems and Data Management Analyst (NBI)

Overview

As part of Baker McKenzie’s Operations, you will safeguard data quality and system integrity for the firm’s New Business Intake. You will serve as a subject matter expert on data governance, ensuring accurate client and matter information in Intapp and related systems, while enabling a smooth onboarding and matters lifecycle. You will drive improvements, train teams, and deliver insightful reports and dashboards that support regulatory compliance and risk management. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to shape data practices for lawyers and stakeholders in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure data integrity and consistency of client/matter data in Intapp Open and Intapp Conflicts
• Update key client/matter data changes in Intapp Open following maintenance protocols
• Identify data quality issues and escalate high-impact concerns
• Assist in creating training materials on data management best practices
• Liaise with stakeholders to document requirements and improve operational effectiveness
• Support NBI with technical/process improvements for data management
• Participate in internal testing when new functionality is introduced
• Develop and maintain data reports and dashboards to support insights
• Build relationships with Data Management Risk Systems team and stakeholders

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Attention to detail and process efficiency
• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Good planning, time management and prioritisation
• Ability to work independently and liaise with other departments
• Advanced MS Excel and Microsoft Office; Intapp knowledge advantageous
