Overview

As Project Manager at Nestlé Waters & Premium Beverages, you will lead capital investment projects at the Buxton site, translating charters into safe, compliant delivery. You’ll balance safety, quality, cost and schedule while collaborating across functions and with external partners. The role supports site objectives and returns on investment with a strong emphasis on commissioning and handover. Responsibilities

  • Lead capital investment projects from definition through start-up within scope, budget and timing
  • Embed health, safety and environmental requirements across project work
  • Coordinate commissioning of plant/equipment and handover to operations
  • Plan and oversee third‑party activity, ensuring safety and quality
  • Collaborate with Operations, R&D, Marketing, Logistics and other teams on project alignment
  • Support CapEx investment scoping, cost estimates and timing plans up to 5 million+ with financial control

Key requirements

  • Experience managing or supporting capital projects in a manufacturing/industrial setting
  • Mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge applicable to project decisions
  • Practical knowledge of Health & Safety requirements, CE marking and PUWER
  • Commercial awareness: cost control, forecasting, purchasing and supplier negotiation
