AI Technical Delivery Manager (Customer)

Overview

As AI Technical Delivery Manager, you steer the delivery of customer AI and agentic solutions from concept to production. You lead AI engineers and data scientists, ensure technical quality, review designs and code, and guide the project to reliable, scalable services. You balance hands-on engineering with leadership, communicating progress and risks to stakeholders. You will work on personalization, decisioning, service agents, and retrieval-augmented workflows to deliver measurable business value. This role sits within Accenture Song’s AI & Data practice, shaping enterprise AI delivery at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery plan and task sequencing for the engineering team
• Review code, prompts, retrieval pipelines, and agent designs against standards
• Design technical solutions covering model selection, RAG, agentic workflows, evaluation, guardrails, scalability and cost
• Identify and raise technical and delivery risks with mitigation options
• Establish engineering practices: code review, testing, CI/CD, monitoring and release processes
• Assess PoCs for production readiness and what remains to scale
• Collaborate with client technical teams on integration, deployment, and security
• Lead and develop a team of AI engineers and data scientists
• Contribute reusable code, patterns and accelerators to the Craft
• Support solution shaping and estimation with technical input

Key requirements

• Hands-on AI and agentic engineering experience
• Experience shipping generative AI and agentic solutions into production
• Strong Python and software engineering skills; APIs, cloud platforms, containers, CI/CD
• Knowledge of model training, evaluation, monitoring; production readiness
• Experience leading AI/data science teams and delivering with stakeholders
• Understanding of Responsible AI, governance, privacy, security
• Ability to communicate technical progress to stakeholders and clients
• Delivery planning and estimation experience
