Senior Product Security Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer for Arm’s Metis security analysis platform. You will design, build, and scale backend services in Python, shaping an evolving platform used by Arm’s engineering teams. You’ll contribute to architecture, observability, and reliability as adoption grows, collaborating with security and engineering teams to deliver practical, scalable capabilities. This is an early, influential role in a small, agile team with a clear impact on security tooling across the company.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain core backend services
• Develop Python services, APIs, and workflow components
• Improve scalability, resilience, and operability of the platform
• Build observability into services with metrics, dashboards, monitoring, and alerting
• Collaborate with internal teams and partners to translate requirements into platform capabilities
• Evolve the backend architecture and service integrations

Key requirements

• Strong Python coding ability and scripting (bash)
• Experience designing, building, and operating production backend services or internal platforms
• Understanding of API design, service-to-service integration, and backend architecture
• Experience with cloud environments, ideally AWS
• Experience with containers and Docker
• Familiarity with CI/CD and modern engineering workflows
• Good communication across security and engineering teams
