In this role you will support the Head of Lighting on Pride – the Musical at The Bridge Theatre, bringing extensive lighting expertise to a large-scale commercial production. You will collaborate with cross-technical teams, stage management, and creative staff to ensure lighting aligns with artistic direction and production needs. You will oversee equipment operation, maintenance, and pre-show checks, and deputise for the Head of Lighting when required. Responsibilities

• Maintain the production under the direction of the Head of Lighting and artistic requirements
• Collaborate with technical departments, stage management, acting company, and theatre staff to ensure smooth information flow
• Assist with operation and maintenance of department equipment, including pre-performance checks
• Deputise for the Head of Lighting when needed
• Assist in day-to-day management of the Lighting department
• Supervise technical staff during performances and rehearsals, ensuring staff are briefed and rehearsed

Key requirements

• Significant professional experience in an equivalent role on a large-scale commercial musical
• Experience in supervising technical staff and coordinating with multiple teams
