Project Controls Engineer – Water/Utilities

Overview

As a Project Controls Engineer in our Infrastructure practice, you will support performance reporting and analysis across projects. You’ll collate progress and cost data to keep schedules and budgets up to date, and produce monthly progress reports. You will work closely with the Project Controls Manager to apply governance and assurance of processes. This role combines hands-on data management with cross-team collaboration to help deliver major infrastructure programmes.

Responsibilities

• Collate progress data from multi-discipline teams to update project/programme schedule in Primavera P6
• Collate cost data to support budget requests and update cost reports
• Prepare monthly reports measuring progress against baseline
• Support the Project Controls Manager in applying governance and assurance of Project Controls processes

Key requirements

• Qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with experience in a project control environment
• Experience in project or programme management with responsibility for delivery or controls
• Experience using Primavera (P6), Power BI, and MS Office applications
• Reliable, autonomous yet collaborative, with strong time management and deadline adherence
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated understanding of Project Controls concepts
