Management Accountant

Overview

In this role you will drive management accounting activities to support growth and decision-making in a thriving industrial business. You’ll collaborate with a forward-looking finance team during a period of expansion and acquisitions, taking ownership in a fast-paced environment. You will translate performance into clear financial insights to guide strategic choices and demonstrate how finance adds value during the next growth phase. You’ll have opportunities to develop as the business scales and to take on broader responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct management accounting processes and deliver timely financial insights for decision-making
• Collaborate with the finance team to understand performance and support business growth
• Prepare reporting during busy periods and manage competing priorities
• Own tasks and adapt to changing requirements with a proactive mindset
• Support senior leaders in understanding financial implications of expansion plans and acquisitions

Key requirements

• Part-qualified, qualified or working towards ACCA, CIMA or ACA
• Strong management accounting experience and high attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and stay effective under pressure
• Proactive, take ownership and ask questions when needed
