In this role you will oversee cost management within UK infrastructure projects, partnering with clients and internal teams to control budgets and deliver value. You will drive forecast accuracy, monitor cost performance, and manage change within governance frameworks to keep projects on track. You’ll collaborate across contractor and client teams to meet KPIs and ensure sound commercial outcomes. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and project stakeholders
- Administer contracts in line with project objectives and policies
- Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to budget
- Monitor cost variance and cash flow; ensure timely contract applications
- Collaborate with client and contractor teams on deliverables, KPIs, and value engineering
- Manage contract change, governance, and best-practice processes
- Improve forecast and budget accuracy over time
- Provide commercial support to stakeholders; negotiate final accounts
- Commission management as needed
- Ensure project governance and adherence to established procedures
