Overview
In this role you support high-profile London infrastructure projects by delivering robust project controls and performance analysis. You will work within the project controls team, collaborating with cost and planning engineers to set baselines and monitor progress. You provide reporting and insights to drive recommendations for client projects, potentially serving as the main client contact. This position offers exposure to major infrastructure programmes and a chance to influence project outcomes through rigorous controls and data-driven decisions. Responsibilities
- Develop work breakdown structures with cost and planning teams and establish robust performance baselines
- Set up progress and cost monitoring methods for projects
- Produce project control reports and deliver performance analysis
- Provide recommendations to clients based on control findings
- Act as primary day-to-day contact with the client on some assignments
- Support SOX control responsibilities where applicable
Key requirements
- Earned value, progress updating, cost control, change control, baseline management, reporting
- Experience with P6 (Primavera) and general planning tools
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Oracle, SAP and reporting databases
- Numerate and computer literate; able to work in a project controls environment
- Graduate in a relevant discipline with some relevant experience
