Overview

In this role you will lead the 12-month Beyond Boundaries talent and learning programme within the Fast Stream and Emerging Talent team. You will co-facilitate workshops, coach participants, and drive programme improvements based on feedback and evaluation. You will manage learner support, communications, and post-programme mentoring, while ensuring alignment with wider government learning goals. The position offers cross-team collaboration, data-informed insights, and opportunities to shape civil service development at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of the 12-month Beyond Boundaries programme with 11 virtual modules
  • Lead and co-facilitate learning workshops
  • Provide coaching (one-to-one and group via action learning sets) and guide participants
  • Manage pre-work, joining instructions, FAQs, feedback collection, and attendance/evaluation tracking
  • Deliver an additional 6 months of post-programme mentoring
  • Collaborate across teams to align with programme goals and feed insights into learning evaluation metrics
  • Scope and support other Fast Stream and Emerging Talent initiatives and assessments as needed
  • Share best practices across the business unit to reinforce a centre of expertise

Key requirements

  • Experience facilitating learning events individually and in pairs
  • Understanding of adult learning styles and how they shape design and delivery
  • Knowledge of evaluation methods and impact measurement with continuous improvement
  • Experience in formal coaching and talent development and learning principles
  • Excellent knowledge of the wider civil service and career pathways
