Overview

In this role you will safeguard data quality and system integrity to support client onboarding and matter creation within the NBI function. You will act as a subject-matter expert, ensuring accurate data across risk systems while enabling efficient operations for lawyers and stakeholders. You will drive continuous improvement, training, and data governance to mitigate risk and boost user experience. This is a chance to shape risk data practices in a global law firm and work closely with technology, risk, and business teams.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across Intapp Intake, Intapp Conflicts, and related risk systems, including corporate trees and risk alerts.
  • Lead investigation and resolution of complex data issues, identifying root causes and escalating high-impact concerns.
  • Develop and update data management procedures to support regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
  • Create training materials, user guides, and presentations to promote risk data management adoption.
  • Monitor data quality trends, identify control weaknesses, and implement proactive measures to reduce operational risk.
  • Promote continuous improvement of risk systems to improve efficiency, functionality, and user experience.
  • Engage with internal clients and stakeholders to support adoption of Intapp products and core risk solutions.
  • Collaborate with Technology and PMO to plan and execute user acceptance testing for new functionality and upgrades.
  • Lead workstreams or projects related to risk systems, data management, and process improvement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor system performance and usage.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, Technology, and external vendors for system performance and issue resolution.
  • Identify and escalate issues or risks affecting system performance or deployment plans.
  • Support data collection, validation, analysis, and presentation for informed decision-making.

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience (3+ years relevant experience in risk systems or data management).
  • At least three years’ experience in risk systems, data management, client onboarding, or legal operations.
  • Ability to work independently and resolve complex issues without established precedents.
  • Experience supporting system enhancements, UAT, implementations, or operational change.
  • Experience analyzing data, identifying trends, and presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Experience developing procedures, training materials, or user guidance.
  • Subject-matter expert capable of providing guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
